Green Juice

My doctor shared a green juice recipe with me without sugars, which even my 20-month old drinks! So, don’t be shy! It’s refreshing, citrusy and already tastes clean.

Cecilia loving my green juice. Makes me very proud!

Try to drink it as soon as you have made it. Just have a look at what a fresh juice vs a 3 day old juice looks like (above). I really don’t need to say more … the fruit oxidizes once the skins are broken, and the integrity of the fruit’s vitamins, enzymes, antioxidants and phytochemicals is reduced. I try to drink mine within 24 hours of making so that biological healing can take place.

I love that you are starting your daughter off on green juices at such a young age! The photo above speaks volumes… I can definitely taste the difference between drinking my juices right after I make them and when I have them the next day. Makes you think twice about buying those pre-bottled ones at the juice bar, doesn’t it???
